Yes I think I'll go with the Krome then build up on other things. But I do wish I could afford a Jupiter 80. :) oh well in the future some. Many Thanks Beethovenslover You'll appreciate the Krome, the orchestrated patches are very good as well as the solo instruments. As I mentioned earlier I have ...

[quote="beethovenslover"]Thanks again Greg for your in-depth reply. This is getting really confusing for me now because I've just heard the Roland Jupiter 80. AAAAAAAAHHHHHH! It's sounds phenominal. I don't know about the pa3x but they are very good, typical arranger styles and of course there's loads of styles you can download and play from a usb stick. The sounds are excellent and give a full rich backing. I'm certainly happy with mine what more can I say. :D cheers If it wasnt for the ...

Re: Krome went kaput!

After about two months of nothing but wonderful performance from my new Korg Krome-88, two days ago my screen went all pixelated and no buttons would do anything. I turned the machine off, and when I turned it back on again, I got the following message: "Read a system from SD Card and Run the ...

Out of interest, can either of them be used as a midi controller? sorry that it's irrelevant :( As long as they have midi out which they do, any keyboard can be a midi controller BUT!!! True midi controllers are specifically designed for that very purpose ei Roland Pro A800 controller,M Audio ...

I think the MX is an updated mm6 but with more features and better use of the Motif engine.... its not a MOX6.Owning the Krome 88, also having the Motif XS rack/Kurzweil PC3 and Roland Integra the Krome is not a toy... but after saying that, its not a Kronos either.I still think it's an awesome ...

Re: Sequencer tool change

I have a Yamaha Tyros 4 and there any changes to the settings remain unchanged up to save Yes but the Tyros cost a lot more... "an awesome machine by the way!!" some of the less expensive keyboards dont allow a lot of similar features in the sequencer department thats why they have an SD card slot ...

That's the reason I don't like adapters ... rather I have a 120/220V standard power cable. I carry several spares anyway when gigging and they almost never break (despite to adapter cables which are mostly way too thin).
