Headphones to use with Kronos?
Hello everyone, I'm back again with a new question. This time it's about what you use to listen to your Kronos with. I have normally used AKG K240's to both record and mix music with my Kronos primarily. I have enjoyed these headphones thoroughly. They gave me a well rounded point of view of where ...

Hello! Thank for all the replies I truly appreciate all the help. Yes I'm trying to adjust the sound design for the synth I selected to fit in with the song I created in the sequencer using the basic ADSR stuff and all that jazz. I sometimes find that the Kronos synths are beautiful but sometimes ...

Tweaking Programs while using Sequencer
Hello again, Maybe I over looked this... but is there a way to adjust a programs sounds while working inside the sequencer? For example I want to adjust a Harp or a violin or synth. I want to be able to pull up the sound and tweak the ADSR to customize it perfectly for the sequence I'm working on ...

They're apples and oranges approach to the same goal. Roland offers a more user friendly playing experience while the Kronos is a deeper dive. Roland's aim with the Fantom series was to make it a quicker instrument to get playing on. I believed they took that concept from the Jupiter 80 and run with ...

There is no need to deep dive into any instrument, such as the Kronos or Nautilus, in order to enjoy it. . I would highly disagree on that. These instruments are expensive and they're expensive because you're paying for their features. It becomes a waste of money if you pay for features you don't ...

Reading your description it truly doesn't seem that something like the Nautilus would be right for her. It's still a feature rich deep dive that would leave a majority of the keyboard mostly unused. It would be overkill as the reasons why she wouldn't use it are the reason why most of us buy it in ...

Out of all the companies Korg seems like the one that listens to their customers the least these days. Akai does, Roland does, Dave Smith does, Moog does... I could go on... but with Korg it's like they don't even acknowledge that they make this keyboard. A Lot of good suggestions brought up in this ...

I feel like an oddball because no one ever recommends my stand I use but I have a "On Stage ks7365ej pro". You can adjust it to sit the top keyboard to a lower height. I modified mine to do the opposite but sit higher. On the bottom I have my heavy Kronos 73. Above it I swap out with lots of other ...

On page 770 they describe it as an "either or" situation. Either you can use the global paremeters setting that will effect the overall output of all sounds coming from the keyboard or you can choose to turn Off the Global paremeters Setting and individually set your effects for each programs or ...

Kronos updates are kind of a joke. Nothing ground breaking in the few updates they made available. Not like Akai or Roland where they add new features. I was thinking about this today. How the Kronos is just software that they can manipulate/actually update to give us more streamlined features. For ...

I don't think there is such a way to do this globally but I have a notebook that I write down my favorite effects and chains I find on the Kronos. But externally I think what you're truly referring to would be a "vocal chain" and the Kronos is rather dependent on settings per program, sequence etc ...

Thanks I appreciate the suggestions. I ended up fooling around with the volume and levels to I got the audio just right. The Midi tracks always seem sound lower that the audio tracks at max volume. Which would make sense since your external source loudness is basically set by you and MIDI is limited ...
