Hey, i did some searching and found this thread :) I'm experiencing this same issue and also have MPC 1000 and MS-2000R. This happens if i have program change assigned for MS-2000R in MPC. If i deselect program change this doesn't happen. Also if MS-2000R is in global menu this doesn't happen. And ...

what the hell i went through update and everything went smooth :D

That [shift]+pad(abcd) thing doesn't mute other parts anymore!

- there seems to be alternative mode for looper-effects.
- you can change sample triggering styles
