Grasshopper, This is the inscrutability test. It's Korg's way of seeing if you're OK to use the beast you bought. The key to the riddle is the registration as Daz points out. That's step 1. Within that step you create a login. Only that login you create in the registration process will work to ...

dhj, The first step in getting the "extra pieces" is to register on korguser.net . Once your registration is accepted in the system, you can purchase any of the EX extras directly from that site. The EX discs are in "Demo form" which allows you to hear all of the sounds for as long as you want ...

dhj, As you said, getting the 2nd gig of ram is a no-brainer, so just do it. The more sounds you can load at one time for a live gig, the better off you are. I wouldn't dismiss using Karma so quickly. If you're doing classic rock, you'd be surprised at just how great Karma can be for a super ...

dhjdhj,

I really like the SKB ATA rated case I have. Not only does it have Excellent handles, but it has rollers too and they are a life saver.

Mine has traveled many miles and I've never had a problem.

M,

The Adat was a tape based recorder. Alesis, like everyone else moved on to hard disk recording.

M,

My understanding is that Korg can no longer get a key part from Alesis (who made the Adat) as they have discontinued production on them.

Even though I'm a relative newcomer to the Oasys and just starting to try to learn Karma, I'd like to second the motion that Daz & Kevin are stating. I can certainly see incredible things can be done with Karma that one wouldn't ordinarily come up with. Having written a few tunes using it and ...

I choose a "Z" stand. It's rock solid, can be either 1 or 2 tiers. Holds 250 # and it's moderately priced. Infinitely variable height from seated to standing.

Check it out here :

Works for me.

Back to the past ! I've tried everthing mentioned including importing a "volume" from the Akai disk and the results equal no gain. In the volume I loaded with Advanced conversion Load, only 3 of about 24 samples were actually loaded as a "program" and were in fact multi samples spread across the ...

I assume you are getting mic bleed thru on recording? Is it only fan noise you hear in the recording? Did you take a reading at ambient (nothing powered on) and then another with everything powered up except the O? What's the change from from either of those? How many hours on the O? If it is only ...

As I mentioned in another post, buying an O is cheaper than supporting a high maintenance woman. While most people will take that equation to mean money (and it certainly can mean that), it can also be seen in the light of being in the clutches of a: controling, needy, naggy, or shrewish woman too ...

Sadly, there will always be people who either don't understand the rules or who feel that the rules of conduct don't some how apply to them. I certainly hope that the seller turns him in and that ebay bans him from from the site. What sort of flake brags about his own flagrant violation of breach of ...

Jamie, When you load any external sample, it will not automatically be reloaded on the next startup. The external sample has to be reloaded again on every statrup. It's best to save the sample(s) to the hard drive while they are in Korg format and then on every startup you can load the file created ...

You actually don't need a mixer, the O can do everything for you.

Lay down your midi tracks to the O's sequencer, then record any additional tracks in audio from the Triton thru the line input jacks on the O. Set the O to mixdown and twiddle the controls to your heart's delight.

Have you checked with UPS or Fed Ex, etc?

What about buying an extra seat on the plane and strapping it in?
