I had to call Korg Support in the US to send out the disks for the old operating systems. For some reason they don't like to post them; I don't know why. You will need the disk for 1.3.0 and then for 1.3.1. They sent me both but I guess you can download 1.3.1 from the web site.

Hi All, I called Korg support and in addition to the known good image of v1.3.1, they sent me v1.3.0 also. The disks arrived this evening and I was able to update v1.1.1 to v1.3.0 and then to v1.3.1. Turns out there will be a happy ending to the story. The dealer has agreed to exchange it with one that is truly new and in the box. I'm really looking forward to getting into it and will assuredly be trolling the forum in the future.
