Thanks for all the suggestions --- I could also twirl on my toes and recite Harry Potter incantations....sigh.... I know there are lots of "workarounds" but I'm not looking for workarounds. I'm in a live situation, not a studio. If I'm playing a song and I know that at some point later in that song ...

Yeah, but that fails immediately as soon as I have touched ANY other place on the screen, or switched to one of the other screens and have some other field highlighted. Sending an external MIDI patch change works much better. I have been using a Roland foot controller to do it but it's extremely ...

The problem is to quickly change to a desired patch ON THE OASYS ITSELF! Nothing to do with other devices. I'm actually doing something similar to control MainStage on a laptop which is being played using a Yamaha AN1x keyboard as a controller (local off). That keyboard has a numeric keypad on it so ...

Hardware patch change MIDI device?

OK - I'm finding that presetting a list of patches in advance of a live gig is not practical because the song ordering can get changed on the fly. So, I'm wondering if anyone makes a little MIDI device that just has buttons on it that can be used to send patch changes. I'd like to be able to quickly ...

I often use Master Limiter. Just lower the treshold to about -3 -4. That will do it for any sound that is to low in a combi.

I agree with you completely that they are probably in violation if they don't have a license to use the trademark. I have no idea whether they have such a license. However, if you take your argument to its logical conclusion, then you are putting the onus on the consumer to check before they buy ANY ...

Since you've got embedded Linux in there, just implement enough WINE to support VSTs (like the Muse Receptor) and then we can load the AAS Lounge Lizard.

Yes, you're correct.....
44.1k sample rate * 16 bits * 2 channels ~= 1.4mb/s ~= 1.75kB/s

One minute is about 10 Mb
