You've done a good job! Glad you got it made. :D Maybe it's just me...but 01/W seems to sound a little better...more firm lows and clearer highs...better stereo image. Yes, it's often said that the sound can profit from a clean and stable power supply - not only on a synth... 8) Thanks man! Didn't ...

Power Supply Board Recap finished...nice Nichicon caps. The size of the snap in and upgraded to 105 degree caps(upped some of the voltage capacity too) fit perfectly. Maybe it's just me...but 01/W seems to sound a little better...more firm lows and clearer highs...better stereo image. Thank you God ...

I adore my Minilogue. I use the portamento workaround to avoid envelope retriggering (turn portamento on, but set the rate at 0). The Minilogue is my go-to session synth on account of its extreme portability and analog fatness, this thing just rips it up whether I'm building ethereal pads, gnarly ...

Thanks guys....the noise of the keys don't bother me as much as how they feel. If you can hear the noise of the keybed then the amps are not loud enough lol;) Glad to hear the Kronos 61 synth keys have a good feel at least. My local store won't get a Kronos. They have the lower and mid tier ...

geoelectro wrote:The keybeds in the 01/w and Triton were Yamaha made, same as the DX-7 for example. Yamaha no longer makes them. The Kronos 61 has a different keybed. It feels better than a lot of keybeds but I prefer the Yamaha version myself.

Thanks:)

Spoiled by Korgs keybeds...Kronos?

I haven't went to a music store after not played anything but my synths I've had at home in quite a while but went and checked some out last night. One thing that struck me is how really amazing the keys/synth action/keybeds feel on the 01/W Triton series compared to everything I played. I mean ...

Well I've had mine since 2003 and still like new. Some great pads and synth sounds on it that other more expensive ones don't really have. The hardware (ribbon joystick etc) is much better than my Kronos it has to be said. And I've got the cd in it, plus, expanded cards (orchestral set two cards ...
