Hi Daz It's really good to hear the voice behind all the writing here at KF. :D Congratulations :!: :!: on venturing into something new, .....and doing it so well too :!: :!: Arrangement-wise I think the suggestions from others here are very good ones, although in the end it's about you expressing ...

The colour printer got nabbed straight away and smuggled off upstairs by the kids :? So many disks to install....should take a couple of ...

Just wanted to say that I found all the info about drumkits and which parts are set to what effect, listed in the Voice Name List part of the User Guide. So that makes it even easier to see what's going on in Global Mode. I suppose if I wanted to change a drum kit's effects settings I would have to ...

Hi Pecca Glad you liked it and thanks for your comments. I still have to crank up the strings at the end a bit! Hello sewa I took out the beat at 1:09 on purpose to create just that feeling you mentioned. You know, kind of stripped away and sparse, just the melodies in counterpoint. Thanks for ...

I've actually figured out how to set the effects over at global mode. It was staring me in the face all the time! It's still too complicated for me, but I could see clearly how to pick an effect for each sound the kit makes. I'll try the new song with drum kit idea. Thanks for such a good idea ...

Looked up drumkit effect in the user guide...........can't make any sense of it. I went to global mode, but can't see which effect applies to which parts of the drum kit. Do you have to set this up in global mode, or is it already set up. I can't even make that out. Anyway, I heard what the ring ...

Thanks George. The TC does have an insert eq called dkit, but my drums come from that combi I mentioned before and eq is set to St. Ring Modulator. Then it goes to master fx 1, which is a sequence delay. The other master fx is set to reverb and that's what causes the hiss. Anyway, I have turned it ...

Lovely song Pecca.

Looks like a beautiful place - we go fishing sometimes too. Well, I don't do any fishing myself, but love being in such places.

Locking the post for the month certainly got me off my backside this time around. I've managed to get my songs in about a week before the deadline.

Last time I started off well, then finished later and later into the next month every time.

We need discipline!! Crack the whip, George !! :D

Why, thank you Simon! This song is rather special to me and I'm still going to do some work on it, so watch this space for the next version. I've already got you printed out several times, Jon . And about adding reverb to the drums...turns out the send to reverb was set to 0, but I find ...

Hi Stephen Glad you liked the drums! I remembered what you told me (2 years ago I think it was...??) about paying attention to upbeats and things. Don't be too impressed with the piano playing....there's a lot of trickery involved :D Thanks George and John for the velocity info! I found just the ...
