Hey Mike, I don't mean to diminish Lionstrac or the Miko. I think they both have problems in the sense that they are basically a full fledged computer in a box. This as we all know is much more different than the Oasys. The O has a stripped down Linux OS kernel that has been fined tuned to not worry ...

Boy Mike recommending the OPen Labs Miko is a real kiss of death considering in runs on Windows basically. Whew. I think the gentelman has a right to state what he says but I think honestly he is wrong because for what he is demanding I don't think there is enough of a market for it. Korg or any ...

Iwould say one thing that is interesting though as I've been finding out in the karma forums is that you can ues ESC to basically port a VST into the Oasys and get marvelous samples into the Oasys and fine tune them with the incredible filters and hardware the Oasys has. It's amazing.I will never ...

I agree wholehartedly with rkarlberg, PIck up the Hanon book and your chops will improve especially solid self quantization and dynamics. Playing a lot of Bach will also discipline your playing. Unfortunately there are many so called composers or keyboard players that are weak in this facet of their ...

I had a similar error with my 2Gb pendrive. When the Oasys looks a the size it reported is as 220M which did not make sense. Korg has said in the past that scanning the external device might clear this but I ended up fixing this by rebooting the Oasys with the USB connection in prior to booting up ...

Synthia, I never told you what to do with your money the only thing I did was ask a very simple question and quite politely I'd say. So I don't think your emotional outburst is justified, but que sera sera. I pretty certain that the Oasys can do 99% and more of what the Radias could anyway from what ...

It's illogical. Because we want to and we can??? You sound like the folks that spend so much on there credit cards and then they say boo hooo I am now so in debt because no one told me to stop. Dude, I love synths but once I got the Oasys I came to revelation that there are no other better because ...

This may be the classic case of not reading the manual. The Oasys as I've said is a mature instrument and you really should not "wing it" . You actually have to sit down and read complexities in the manual. Some people are not confortable with simple stuff like subtractive synthesis now consider ...

Man it's not rocket science all you do is load the MID file into your system and if it doesn't map out as GM then you have the benefit of mapping your own sounds to each of the tracks. If you have an Oasys and cannot even perform this simple task or pick up the book to invest some time in learning ...
