Boy you have made me laugh like you cannot believe. You are one of those guys that love to use the "dumb" word huh? Did I ever say I only liked the jazz and atmospheric music , no... in fact the genre I most like (although not the only one) is progressive rock. A challenging genre I would have to ...

What has the process been for you to do something like this. HAve you tried placing your MID file on a USB thumbdrive and placed it in the Oasys ant then just go to disk check the thumbdrive and just load the file? The manual pretty much summarizes it simply. Just as if you loaded a file into your PC.

Actually the optical connection is in many ways superior to the the audio plugs Anthony. You dont' have to worry about hum because the connection is optical (light based). I exchanged my EMU 0404 for and EMU 1212m because its SPDIF optical in and out can be doubled as an ADAT optical in and out. I ...

For Dance Music or teeny bopper type genres you don't need an Oasys. The Oasys is a mature instrument for nuances that are subtile and details. A lower end device more than suffices for dance stuff... try an Alesis FUsion. When was the last time you cared about a subtile tremelo of breath of a flute ...

For an expense of this type and the new technology involved I REALLY suggest you try it out first somehow. This is definitely the kind of thing you need to try out first before you buy. When I bought mine I had no idea of how it really was until I went in the store and tried it out. There are many ...

BY the way if you already have a an Alesis Fusion HD and other keyboards then the the Oasys is overkill for you. Most people in the forum may agree that once you have an Oasys you usually put all you other equipment away in storage since the OAsys does it all. Jordan Rudress even sold or got rid of ...

Honestly , don't take our word for it because this may or may not be the instrument for you since it is quite complex and you may want something that gets you the sound you want in a quicker manner. The only thing that matters is that you test drive it and play and even try the programming a bit ...

I think the answer if simple... why not try it out at you local store? Words can't really describe the oasys. But be warned, this is not an instrument yo get because its the flavor of the month or you want the biggest or baddest instrument out there. The instrument has many nuances and can perform ...

The question begs to be asked.... Why in the world would you get an Oasys if you don't know much about synthesis or fabricating a sound from scratch? You really should start at synthesis 101 and have picked up a easier instrument to start with. Folks like you think that that working the Oasys is ...

I actually have a On-Stage keyboard stand ( yea the one with Z configuration) I wil hold the OAsys 88 and if you add the second and 3rd tier you confortable hold 3 keyboards total. But folks quite honestly after you have an Oasys you do not need any other keyboards at all. The Oasys controls the ...

I couldn't disagree more with you statement that the Oasys is more suited to pads and electronic music. It is a revolutionary piece of gear. I am not one into any sort of worship of equipment but as a musician with meticoulous ear and also and Electrical engineer well aware of the technology that ...

In the word of Ralph kramden... "Some people are never satisfied" The Oasys is an instrument that will keep you busy creating for years and years to come. The instrument is the Mazarati of synth workstations. It simply blows away any other self integrated system out there. It's computer resources ...
