well, there are a few 'volume' type knobs on the KP3 if you're confident your mixer is set up correctly. they're all to the left of the touchpad, you could try playing with those?

it sounds like a problem with your levels honestly. but it would be hard to say without more info, i would guess the problem is in your mixer somewhere if that's possible?

no the kaossilator will not correct your timing
i suggest playing along with drums. use a kaossilator drum loop if you have to.

my (un-educated) guess is that the kp3 has no internal routing system that would allow it do that. there wouldn't need to be much if any more 'memory' to accomplish this, but the necessary circuitry would need to be in place. probably the sound unit is programmed to have one effect on at a time and ...

with traffic lights, at least the top one means stop and the bottom one means go (in the US at least). with the kp3 the lights are in the same spot. must be a real pain in the ass, i have a hard enough time remembering what sample is what on the kp3 and i can tell the difference between red and green.

if you're truly industrious you could try replacing the three colored LEDs underneath the sampling pads but i really wouldn't suggest it. that would look dope though. you're probably stuck unfortunately.
