you can't just take an existing piece of hardware and magically reconfigure it to do whatever you want.... it would be nice but hardware does have limitations. you could of course attach it to your computer and create whatever effects you wanted to (using synthmaker or chuck or synthedit) and use ...

hey man first off, i don't think there's a way to control the notes of the KP3 synths, so you couldn't send just note values at it. what you want to do to trigger a position on the touchpad is send x value, send y value, send touchpad on. that looks something like B0 0C XX B0 0D yy B0 5c 7F to turn ...

ya man, i'm thinking it really may be a driver issue with 10.5; pretty sure i read somewhere that some of the audio drivers weren't quite proper in the new OSX. sucks, let us know if you fix it...

i meant like the take the SD card out of your KP3, and plug it into yr computer and read it directly. oh yeah... i think i heard somewhere that the newest release of mac os had a bug with recognizing certain gear but i could be totally wrong. i have win xp so i can't comment... there is a memory card slot with the KP3 you could use if you have the right reader on your computer... that's usually what i use to ...

now that i've looked into it for a second, i can't even figure out HOW to create an exectuable with miniaudicle. i'm actually not even sure that it has a compiler at all...

EDIT - i can't really even try to make an .exe without more alpha testers, who either don't exist or don't feel it necessary to let me know if it's working from them or not. maybe with enough data i could try but right now it seems kinda pointless to make something for a group of people who can't ...

in that case you will either need a footpedal or some other type of hardware.
