i taught myself chuck to do all the coding, it's kinda complicated but looking at the stuff you've done i would guess you could pick it up pretty quick... it has built in classes for sending and receiving both OSC and MIDI data, which is pretty much the whole program - get something from the KP3 ...

1. Longer sample times; especially for one shots. use it to trigger samples on yr computer via midi, then loop the audio thru the kp3. same functionality. probably this is a built in limitation of the hardware so don't expect help from korg on it... 2. Alternative filenames; again, use it as a midi ...

kaoss monome UPDATED new standlone .exe
what the heck, they both have an 8x8 grid, it seems like there should be a way to get a monome clone on a KAOSS pad right?? oish1 already posted a little about this here - http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=32293&highlight= i've got my KP3 programmed now so that touching the XY ...

yeah, i too would do it if i had a clue how; as it is i think when i am done this will be easy enough to use... what other things would you like to see done with the KP3? i'd love to help expand it anyway i could, but it's probably going to have to be thru a midi translator as that is stretching the ...

that was me! the code i posted on the site you linked to is horribly sloppy (it's been a few years since i've done anything, and i've never worked w/ midi before).... but there will be a better version up soon, i've got most of it all worked out and now it plays 32 scales in whatever key you want ...

if you get a larger mixer you can plug whatever the heck you want into it (mine has 2 rcas, 2 xlrs, and 8 or 10 1/4 inch jacks). then it 'mixes' the signals together (hence the name) and gives you a single output. frankly before you invest too much in all of that gear you may want to do some serious ...

no no i can't be having people messaging me w/ stuff like that, no offense ;) . really what cables you will need will depend on what speakers and mixer you have. when you have the necessary hardware in front of you it will become apparent what you need. probably a 1/4 inch cable for each speaker ...
