I have to say, it does look pretty good in my studio.

Hi Ken,
So nice to see you here. I majored in piano performance and music ed.
Have you seen the Lincoln Park campus lately? Now I know where all our money went!

Thanks for the input Kevin, but seriously. I use the O, its internal sounds, and its CURRENT sequencer coupled with KARMA, and run VST's (EastWest Plat, Orch, QL Pianos, Stormdrum, Symphonic Choirs), Omnisphere, the entire IK Suite, Ivory and a whole array of other programs. I've also integrated the ...

What if Korg's not talking for a reason? Let's just say that there will be no more future developments. Will it still be freaking awesome as it stands? My question was rhetorical. The realist that I am, I never bought into the non-obsolescence portion of the sales pitch unless upgrading hardware was ...

...please tell me EXACTLY what it is the unavailability of a new OASYS O.S. upgrade is preventing you from doing musically. Personally, I can pretty much do anything I want without relying on KARMA and find the sequencer capable of recording any musical thought or idea I come up with. FL www ...

No matter the brand, should an issue arise with your board, such as is the case with a few number of O's, the procedure would typically be to take your instrument to your distributor's support. I just don't know why this would be any different with Korg. Visit the Fantom G's, Motif XS's, Sonikmatter ...

Cool thanks man.
I'm messing around now and can't seem to find a
way to quantize the retrig to exactly 8ths, 16ths, 32nds and so on.
Ironically, I'm working with some of BT's loops off of Emotional
Technology, specifically, Somnambulist.

Chopping/slicing/stuttering on the O?
Have any of you guys tried to do this with any homemade samples, especially drum loops on the O? I guess I'm trying to do what Stephen Kay did with KARMA in one of his videos (from AES???) a few years ago but with outside samples and not existing waveforms. I noticed that Access' new Atomizer ...

I'm with you on this bo.h I know I'm new here but what I've seen a lot of here recently is nothing more than fanboy nonsense which often leads to one declaring their love for the O and how everything else is crap. That's great and all but it's a two way street when someone finds major shortcomings ...

Even though it's the end...
...I am so happy that I was lucky enough to finally land a functioning OASYS 88 with all the bells and whistles. It will definitely have a place in synth history right beside the Synclaviers and Fairlights as one of the most amazing keyboards ever. I will be posting some footage on YouTube really ...

Wow, really? I guess I'm just the opposite here. Even without a large touch screen I can easily manage to get to any parameter I want and tweak to my heart's content with great ease. With my old 2500/2600's, I would have my go to sounds (i.e. pianos, strings, etc.) already edited, which is fairly ...
