Just expressing my approval of the Octopus as I also own one. Definitely not limited to 32 steps though, and it's very simple to break songs into intro, chorus, etc. It's very intuitive once you learn how to use it, and you can do realtime recording from another midi device into it to record live ...

I must also second the Genoqs Octopus simply because it is the ultimate external hardware sequencer imho. I also work with computers all day so the last thing I want is to be tied to one when I'm not working. Besides that though, it is very intuitive once you learn it and fast. Plus sequences can ...

You can do it; I've done this with my Radias rack in the past. I don't have the exact info at the moment as I'm at work, but perhaps this evening I will have some time to post the Page in which you can set INT/EXT for the MIDI channel. I actually have a Virus TI rack and a Waldorf Blofeld being ...

I've been finding and reading/watching materials on synthesis how to (there is an excellent 12 part video series on Jordan Rudess's Music Conservatory website). I've read some books that have chapters on synthesis, but I have been unable to find a book solely on synthesis. Does anyone have any ...

Just saw Oasys being used on the Grammys!

Just turned the Grammys on real quick earlier this evening and noticed the keyboard player banging on an Oasys!! I saw it during the Four Tops performance. Don't remember if it was a 76 or 88, but I saw the KORG name and the big TouchView screen. Anyways, just an observation, I always find it cool ...

I bought the Oasys new in September after seeing what this puppy could do, and it absolutely blew me away. I was just recently contemplating selling it because it is such a beast and I felt a bit lost, but as soon as I sat down at that monster I dismissed any thought I had of "downgrading" and will ...

Selling an Oasys 76 w/ 2GB RAM, LAC-1, MOD7, $5,500USD OBO

I bought a brand new Oasys 76 from Guitar Center just this past September and have been mesmerized with it, this thing truly is incredible. Unfortunately, it maybe too much of a beast for me, and I am looking to sell it. It has 2GB of RAM installed along with LAC-1 and MOD7; I am located in NJ, USA ...

Want to buy: Korg Oasys

I'm in the market to buy an Oasys, whether it be a 76-key or 88-key isn't too important. If anyone is looking to sell, let me know! :)
