Thank you Kontrol49 and to all of you who have responded! Of course Kontrol49, you are absolutely right with your whole statement! A musical instrument is finally just a tool to translate to the outside world, what you have to say as an artist and what is comming from your heart, your spirit and ...

If one owns an Oasys ... it doesn't make too much sense to buy another one even when it's called Kronos  ... exception: one plays on stage very often - then I'd prefer a lighter Oasys to carry around. :!: This was the reason why I've bought a second Oasys, to have one in my studio and one for ...

OASYS-I, OASYS-II (Kronos) Updates? my final conclusion
I have two fully expanded Oasys-88!!! I've purchased the first one in late summer of 2008 for the FULL price of over 12'000 Swiss Francs, which is more or less the same amount as 12'000 US Dollars, because the prices here in Switzerland (we are not a member of the EU) are much higher than on the ...

Anyway, I suspect there are less LFO's and perhaps other features per voice in Kronos compared to OASYS voice architeture; which might have a bearing on their compatibility. But as said - I could be wrong on this. Kevin You can of course compare the specs for the OASYS and KRONOS on korg.com. For ...

"The Game Has Been Changed"
I can't believe that my two OASYS will soon have their first baby! And the KRONOS is even better than its parents! Thank you KORG, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! KRONOS is the much improved OASYS II version for everyone (aside from the still same archaic sequencer), this is real socialism! This ...

...I looked but couldn't find the caption to the image you point to ... Here it is: (Mars south polar region) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/m07_m12/images/M08/M0805725.html (You will realize that those "lines" show sometimes a shadow on the ground (which structures should be analyzed as well), so ...

Greetings from a Swiss citizen and half hungarian to my Magyar barát! (My mother and her family came to Switzerland escaping the russian invasion in 1956, because they were put on a death list by the communists). It is funny to see, that we all are a part of the same generation ( I am 43) but I am ...

MOD-7 and STR-1 provide for unphathomably deep sound design, yet nobody – and I mean absolutely nobody – gives a damn or ever programmes these synth engines. Wrong, because I've purchased my two OASYS-88 mainly because of MOD-7 and STR-1 and I am programming my own sounds with them, and I am still t ...

I don't see any future for Roland, Yamaha and Korg if they continue without a fundamental and complete change. Spectrasonics and others are already the future. It is just a question of time till you can run a DAW with plenty of plugins on an iPad (or something similar) with high-end sound quality ...

The M3-Xpanded and the PA Entertainer Keyboard Series are capable of doing this, but "thanks" to Korg Japan NOT the flagship OASYS with its huge touchsreen... At least you can use "Tone Adjust", where you can define which virtual slider or knob (for example to control the MS-20) you want to move in ...
