Great thread. My Kronos arrived last week. Today, I finished completely rearranging my studio. Over the next few days, I am going to compare these two wonderful instruments side by side. My thinking was that with the O and the K it would be possible to have more than ample effects processing ...

Sani, I also had a T3-ex, got it new and sold it about 2 years ago to help fund my Oasys. The keyboard was built like a tank and through all those years I never had one problem with it, the disk drive, or the screen display.
Probably it was my favorite of all of my former synths. :)

Thanks Jon. I think you're right. I'd be afraid that the brains of those keyboards would drain out of one or more of the unused 1/4" jacks and empty themselves on the floor. :)

I do wish I had them all once again! But, that is what sacrifice is all about. Here is the list: Farfisa portable organ, Wurlitzer electric piano, Fender piano bass, Arp 2600, Roland SH 1000, Orchaestron, many moons pass by.....then Korg M1, Korg T3-ex, Korg 01wfd, Ensoniq EPS 16+turbo, Roland JD800 ...

Are you referring to the Apex type stands? I had one for many years and it was very reliable. For the heavy and expensive ones, The super tribar is a good option. :)

Probably, a Jupiter 80. Even though they are new, it would be cool to have one. :)

Runningman, if anyone is a trooper, you qualify. I sure hope you get your Kronos quickly...you have been a really good sport. My choice will probably be limited tweaking, but if that occurs, the changed preset will be renamed and sent to another location...I won't be interested in losing the factory ...

From my first synth, many moons ago(Arp 2600) to my spartan collection I have now, I have to say I've liked something about every board I've owned. I started out with a Farfisa organ and a Bandmaster amp...much before the 2600, and utilized them heavily for quite a few years. But, I always have had ...

My sympathy goes out to you. I almost got a JP80 instead of the Kronos 61. So to sell your Oasys, was a pretty tough thing to do. Then to have the K73 mess up two times...wow, that has to be frustrating. I have not had any problems in the couple of weeks that I have had my K61. Maybe that is a ...

Since it is quite a bit heavier than my K61, instead of taking a chance, I would just have someone take one end and you take the other. You certainly would not want to drop it! :)
