If you go to YouTube and do a search for "Kurzweil Artis" you should find a selection of demo videos which should give you an idea of the board's capabilities. Good Luck!

Not knowing whether you are a newbie or an experienced user, could I assume the first scenario and suggest three possible reasons for your problems. First, does the bar readout along the bottom of the track edit page read "Bar 9 to Bar 64" which it should for a successful execution. Also, have you ...

Thanks Bald Eagle I should have been clearer on that point but I know there are some wav editors that can record audio and save it as a wav file if Pianomanachester does not have or want a fully fledged DAW. I myself have the wave editor which comes with the Cyberlink PowerDirector video editing ...

If you have some sort of wav editor which allows you to record or you have a DAW which would enable you to record them as audio tracks then you could use the save song function which should produce a wav file. However if you want to retain a decent level of sound quality you really need an audio ...

I would imagine that since the Krome sounds are not generated by Logic there must be a particular way of exporting, possibly in real time with the Krome actually playing the material. I have never tried this with my own DAW which is Sonar but I know it is quite easy to record external sounds to an ...

Hm, I've never tried recording into a DAW, I don't know if they are able to receive midi data but there is a workaround. If you record your Krome material with the Krome's own sequencer you can save it as an SNG file then when you want to play it along with Logic you can put the midi clock on the ...

Two possibilities come to mind: first have you got both your logic tracks on different midi channels and second have you got the Krome in a multitimbral mode, ie Combi or Sequencer. If you match the Logic midi channels to the sounds you want on the Krome this should solve the problem. However you ...

Using the damper pedal in Combi mode can keep notes on so you can use both hands to play another voice, if your using combi mode that could be what's happening but even in Program mode you may be disabling the note offs of any notes you're playing while activating the damper pedal. I've never used ...

Sorry to have missed the deadline Jay but had I seen your post earlier I would have been able to remind you of the Kaoss Pad functions which are available on the screen of the M3 which might be useful in a live situation. I'm sure a lot of forum readers would be interested to hear what you ...

Sound Packs for Krome

Hi Everyone, nice to be here on the Korg forums after the purchase of a 61 note Krome last Thursday. I was looking through the thousands of Krome videos on YouTube and was totally knocked out by a guy called Dan Stesco playing some new sounds he's created for the Krome. I've tried a web search but ...

Thanks EnjoyRC, but I'm still rather confused. The last two synths on which I used library samples a great deal were the Fantom G and the Motif XS. On the Fantom G samples were placed in sample sets which acted like patches and could be used as such in a track and on the Motif XS when you imported ...

Inserting samples in a song

I use vocal samples from sample libraries so I have loaded the samples onto the M3 from my memory stick and created keys for them in the recording page. What I can't work out is how to trigger them from within a sequencer track so they can become part of a song, I managed to incorporate samples in ...

Many thanks for your advice Alland, I actually have a refurbished PC which came with all sorts of programs installed who I've never heard of so maybe that's the problem. The editor is purely a convenience so not having it will in no way detract from my enjoyment of the instrument. Thanks again for ...
