Hello I am trying to use my kaoss pad 3 and ableton 8 and have become stuck :( I have got it setup using a komplete 6 audio interface and can hear fx from the pad all ok affecting the played sample. The problem is when I try to record the fx it does not record at all. This is how I want it to work ...

it is bizarre and I do not really want to send my unit back as am having fun with it

just need to get rid of that crazy delay

have found out drums 1 to 4 do have a slight delay anyway

so not all bad at present

At first I thought it was my soundcards latency, but disproved this by disconnecing all inputs and outputs on my kp3 and plugged my headphones into the kp3 and used the synth and drum channels. had to use the send switch on the kp3

is there anyway of factory resetting the kp3?

it is as though fx release is permently on (or it could be the soundcard as well).

yeah I think my soundcard is getting a bit long in the tooth nowadays

will see if i can sort out the latency
