Is there a way to be able to hear your voice clean as well as with a vocoder preset?

Was wondering if it was possible to do something like imogen heap's Hiding Seek

I have found recently that I get the same problem when I use different external equipment with the Kp3. For example, plugged directly into speakers/headphones its fine, however on some certain occasions if i plug into a mixing desk there is a delay on all effects, meaning i can't use the drum loop ...

Notes:

I have enabled run as adminstator on both computers
I have enabled Usb on the R3

I am running windows Vista.
I have set Mini In and Midi out to 'R3' as I do not have the ones mentioned in the manual.

Whenever I try to Recieve any data the software says "Device inquiry error"

Same error on my laptop which is also running Vista.

Recently bought an R3 to use on stage, and I also have a Korg KP3.

What kind of things can I do between the two using MIDI?

I've been looking to get one myself, I don't think there is anything to attach it to a stand specifically.

Your best bet is to get a seperate stand.

I'm having to rest mine on top of one of my keyboards.

Hmm, this is a long shot,

but right click on 'KP3Updater.exe', and set it to run in windows xp - under compatability.
And also click run program as admisitrator.

You press cancel on that one for the driver,


Then press
the [OK] button on the other dialgoue window that says 'please finnish the hardware wizard'

Then it will say press 'OK' to install driver.

No worries, yeah the best thing to do is to get it all direct from Korg's website.

I'm on vista myself, but i found it to be pretty much the same as xp.

I origionally couldn't find my kp3 to update the drivers, then i realised i was using a midi to usb cable instead of a standard usb cable!

I'm not sure if i'd want something as large as that though, on stage im already using a lot of equipment.

Is there anything smaller which can perform as a Hold and also Record?

How abouts can I set up a MIDI pedal which will act as the hold funcion whenever it is pressed?

And where can I buy one from?

(Im using the KP3 with two keyboards and im running out of hands!)
