First, there is no command that I know of that will turn midi transmission/reception on or off. If I understand your question correctly, I'd use the Oasys in Sequencer mode. Copy the combi you use into the Sequencer then limit the area of the Karma-fied part using keyzone. Also, set the appropriate ...

Thanks… jg:: & Mike C. It seems like I'll need to create a program specifically for the snare rolls that'll include the 'Hold' function toggled off and not include anything else that would need it toggled on. My reason was to see if I could create snare 'roughs' or ghost notes that real drummers add ...

You have to define the occasional move… I have a gator case for my O 88 … when I occasionally move, it is by me in my vehicle and I pack stuff on top of it with no worries google gator cases… If you're occasionally playing a gig where there are road crews or airlines in involved , then only an ATA an ...

The KARMA is one (big) facet the Oasys has over the gear you mentioned. I personally don't believe in buying older gear (unless the price is unbelievably low) as I'd prefer going forward with newer technology. Yes , You can load in DX7 type patches provided you have the FM-7 engine loaded into the ...

I don't believe you need a little midi device to do what you want. Simply, arrange the sounds on your external devices into the memory locations that would correspond with e.g., with whatever selection you make on the Oasys. If you wanted Program A016 (Real Suitcase E.Piano) but wanted a specific ...

Global mode > P1 Midi tab > beginning Page 554 in the Parameter Guide. Lower right hand side of Page 555 > Midi Clock… It's all there ! I'll assume you want to record an Oasys midi track to a Pro Tools midi track with Pro Tools in grid mode. When using Sequencer mode make sure each track's 'status' ...

If I understand correctly what you want to do… Place the Oasys in Sequencer mode > Copy the combi you are using (Either one you created or a factory one or place the individual programs with the respective KARMA modules into the appropriate tracks in the Oasys Sequencer) to the newly created song. ...
