Hi, Just wondered if any of you guys can confirm that the Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 will work fine with the Oasys? If so, I will download/buy this version: http://www.garritan.com/products_gpo4.html -Tiger Guitarist / Classical pianist Oslo, Norway -------------------------------- Korg Oasys 88 ...

Re: Tiger789

Tiger789 I would love to let you try and compare and get your feedback. I think I can breath some new life back into the OASYS and make people drool over it again. I'll be happy to try any new sounds for the Oasys. That way, I am like a kid in the candy store. -Tiger Guitarist / Classical pianist ...

Re: Thanks

Have you found any good harps? or Cymbol Mallet rolls? That would realy work great with the sordino strings! I like the classical guitars and harps that comes with the new Fantom G and for the most part I have used these so far. How do they compare to the Roland Fantom-G/X Strings?, I was ...

Re: Thanks

How do the Karo Strings sound? Real or just another string patch that you say cool, but not blow you away. They are far better (IMO) than any string patch you find in a keyboard, incl. even the Oasys. Personally, I love the "Sordino" strings because they are very realistic and "whispering" and ...

If I could only have one keyboard, without question, it would be the Oasys Amen to that 8) After all, what really matters in the end (sequenser issue or not) is what the keyboard actually sounds like. At least to me. As far as the Oasys, it's only limited by the musician who are playing on it ...

Re: Case for the Oasys 76 ?

I am looking for a case for my Oasys 76 and wondered what fellow 76'ers were using ... Thanks ! Daz. First thing I did when I got my Oasys 88 was to order a decent flightcase. I had mine built by a flightcase company in Norway but it looks exactly like the one below from Sweetwater with all the ...

Geez.. I wish there was a "streaming samples" solution available for the Oasys. This is exactly why I just ordered a V-Machine. I want streaming without a PC and the V-Machine will give that in a tiny little box that I can integrate with the OASYS. Regards. Sharp. That little box is pretty cool but ...

Hi Tiger789 & peter You """"DO"""" get the Program and COMBI sound when you load AKAI data. See my post here. http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=42933 A lot of people don't realise this for some strange reason. Thanks Sharp. I wasn't aware of this. This is very interesting and I ...

Personally I'd go for anything mentioned in this thread except for Choir sounds. I don't see the point when "Symphony Of Voices" loads into the OASYS perfectly, and it's an award winning library. The budget needed to produce a library to complete with it would be astronomical. +1 (just converted ...

Hm.. that's what I thought :? Actually, I thought, with a Roland Fantomn at your disposal, you would perhaps be well covered in the choir department? (FantomG has "best of" sounds ...

This is very uplifting and I really look forward to many new sound libraries from Karo. The Karo Philh. Strings is just amazing and I also love the "Oberheim" pads that comes with it. I have also yet to check out all the existing libraries that is released so far. I really hope for a Choir library ...
