I was wondering the same when I first got the keyboard. Do some searching on the forum and you'll find out that every perf button can be an STS. That's lots of STSs. Don't worry, its not a "shame".

Good luck.

Dont forget that the Sequencer also workas as any other workstation, you can create MIDI from scratch too, from zero. Thanks Nedim. What I'm hoping to be able to do is, record the midi song with my chord variations, then load it in the multitrack sequencer, and then play the instruments on the rest ...

multitrack sequence help

Can I load a song into the sequencer, or do I always have to create the beat manually. I know with step back sequqencing I can record my chord variations, can I load those in multitrack sequencing ? Or any other beat for that matter. I'm trying to limit the use of my DAW for sequencing and see how ...

That explains why some samles have "(mono" and some have have "(stereo)" after them. I also noticed that some WAVs I was loading into the sampler didn't sound as "dynamic" as they did on my computer. I tried re-creating the effect but couldn't get it the same, but that's just my lack of experience ...

you'll come across those terms in almost all software/hardware sequencers and notation softwares. They usually give you an option called "humanize" , so that the sequencer won't quantize every thing to the gridline perfectly. If you quantize by %100 , it will sound very mechanical and robatic. The ...

I usually tighten the resolution if I am paranoid about absolute accuracy I understand what you eman by tighten, I just don't understand the displayed choices. ie: Note symbol with a notch as opposed to 2 notches and number 3 (which I'm guessing is the third bar). Sorry I know this is probably a ...

Sampling. Saving wav file L or R ?

Everytime I save a sample (WAV), I get two versions L and R. Just wondering if I can save them as one sample (Stereo).

Thank you.

Quantize explained (Resolution)

Can someone explain the values in this list. I play by ear and don't speak note language.

Is there a value more commonly used than others or does is it depend on your loop ? I tend to sneak in notes, should I just leave it at "HIGH" in that case ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi rbalaa in which case do you use only the ACCs without drums/perc,Bass ? I often use the Drum/Perc. standalone. To realize this is very easy. Memory off and no playing the lower-part. So only the Drum/perc-Tracks will run. You have only switch off the memory-function for a little time. You can ...

The Korg PadKontrol has a direct MIDi cable connection that can connect direct to the Pa2x/Pa800. But the pads cannot be programmed with chords, only single notes, so its less flexible than the other stuff I mentioned. It makes a good Drum pad accessory though. Is there one like the nanoKontrol ...

Both English and Middle Eastern. But now I'm havng fun with some sequencing, and would like the option to have control over the track with physical buttons.

The Korg Nanos are nice (thanks Rob), but I'd prefer a direct connection to the pa. But I will consider the nanos also for home use.

Record style question

Can I edit a style, and have my chord choice of Acc pattern from the style loop the way I want it ? Basically I don't want to re-create the Acc pattern, I just want to choose the chords.

I hope that's clear.

Thanks in advance.
