I deleted all MIDI drivers and the MIDI configuration file, installed my two main MIDI drivers (Kronos & Konnekt 48)......I'm back in business.

I take that back. The Kronos has again quit responding to MIDI. Not changes to the setup from yesterday.

It turns out is had something to do with the audio driver for my Konnekt 48 and aggregate devices in OSX. When I upgraded the Kronos, something in the aggregate devise handshake got off. Anyways, all is well as of right now!

I'm still getting nothing. The only factor that has changed in my setup is the Kronos and Editor version update. The editor was nice enough to tell me this: Messages ========= ERROR! After multiple attempts, no response from instrument! Continuing... when receiving a Korg Kronos Global Bytes ...

I updated to the newest firmware (2.0.6) and now my Kronos does not seem to work with my computer any more. I tried launching the standalone editor and I get an error: "A compatible Korg Kronos v2 with OS v2.0 or higher was not detected......" Midi In seems to work (coming from the Kronos to DAW ...

Users: Are there any early adopters of Mountain Lion here? If so, any audio, MIDI or plug-in issues to report?

KORG: Any official statement on compatibility?

Does USB audio have any affect on USB MIDI latency? I have been using the KRONOS USB out for MIDI and the SPDIF out for audio. I am considering doing away with the SPDIF and running the audio through USB, but am currious if this approach will change the amount of MIDI latency in any way? Any insight ...

I think the instructions were correct, but not very well written. A little more emphasis on the details of step 5 would have been nice. Either way, after a few failed attempts, a successful attempt came.

This pack brings a question to mind. If the pack can install multiple patterns direct to drum track patterns on the Kronos, how can we go about installing a "pack" of our own patterns, without having to manually import them one by one through the sequencer?

Can you give any thought on the benefit of this pack vs a GrooveMonkee pack? I am curious to the functional benefits. Is it organized in a logical manor? Is it quick and easy to access? I really like the ease of flipping on a drum and jamming. But finding what you are looking for can be a challenge ...
