Hi Leao,

I was talking about using an external sequencer. Either way, the only messages I could get out of the M3 into my computer were SysEx. I ended up writing a Max patch to handle this for me:

According to the MIDI Implementation Chart that comes with the M3, the On/Off of the Effects can be controlled by CC. (#92,#94,#95)

This does not seem to work for me. Can anyone point me in the right direction or provide more technical detail on how to achieve this?

I really wish someone had the answer to this. For the most part you asked the exact question I am trying to find an answer for. I agree....no hands on control is a major limitation. If I had a way to easily control the EXB-Radias I would reach for it a lot more often.

I think I just found the culprit. The firewire midi port. I did not scroll all the way down on my settings to see that clock was being sent out by both the usb and the firewire midi ports. i am not sure why that would effect the triggering of notes. To the point of samples being the issue, there are a few "virtual analog" boards on the market that do not stair step when you grab the filter knob. As for what I am hearing, it is a stair stepping sound when I take the lowpass filter freq knob from 0 to 127. It is much less noticeable around 0-80 ...
