Hi Tom,

No problem!

About your question, there's no official indication that it is Korg stuff, but it certainly looks and feels the same as the original side panels.

Good luck!

Sounds like you have the polarity set wrong? Try changing that in Global.

Hi Tom, Yes I have received my panels! I paid € 70 for them, including taxes. They did not charge me any postage costs, but I assume this will be different for shipments to the UK. I am sure the helpdesk will be able to give you an indication of the costs. Be sure to indicate that you have a 61! The ...

Hi Tom,

yes ofcourse, actually it was an online transaction through
http://www.bax-shop.nl/

The website obviously is completely in Dutch, but you can reach them at helpdesk at bax-shop dot nl.

I'm sure they are willing to help if you drop them an email.

Let me know how it goes!

Regards
Sander

OK so there finally seems to be some progress. I tried a different retailer and they seem to be able to deliver the side panels. For a set of side panels they have charged me € 70. Expensive but still cheaper than buying a second-hand replacement Extreme just for its side panels :) If someone has a r ...

No luck with this, I called the Korg importer here in Holland and they seem to have the parts in stock, but they are not willing to send them directly to end-users, so they advised me to contact my Korg retailer, which I did. But even they did not get any decent reaction. I will probably try again ...

Hi, where did you get your sysex file of the original SR RAM banks? I have just acquired a Wavestation S/R but my RAM banks contain copies from ROM-banks instead of the factory presets and I would like to have them. I found some sysx files floating around but none of them seem to contain the SR RAM ...

Hi from the Netherlands

Hello all, I left some messages already, but I thought it was time to properly introduce myself. I am Sander and I am a keyboard player from the Netherlands. I play in a band called The Dust Connection (not to be mistaken with the Chicago-based cleaning company  ), I think you could call our ...

You might want to check on ebay whether someone has a Korg X5D for sale. One of the best secondary keyboards I have used so far. It's a very basic 61-key synth, BUT the sounds on it are great (as you would expect from Korg), you could use it as a midi controller, and it doesn't weigh anything, which ...

Hi Sander, Maybe you can let me know how you get on with that because over here they are approximately £50 ...EACH! ...and i need both left and right panel's. Only thing that annoys me about it, is that from korg usa, like everything else, its probably at least HALF that. Anyone know why? ...

I have the same problem, I wonder why Korg chose to use that type of material for side skirts? It looks kind of cheap and to me is the only let down to an otherwise brilliant instrument.

anyway, does someone around here know if there's an option like the one mentioned above for Holland?
