NAMM is actually 2 weeks away (14 days 16 hours according to their official countdown)....Roland must be starting early with their connection countdown since it's less than 7 days until their launch.....Roland's countdown doesn't excite me anymore because they do that every year whether they have ...

Sounds like your making progress!....I thought about it after I said about the video and it probably wouldn't be a good comparison to something like the VIP anyway....I had them set me up a custom Qu4ttro (without the presonus rack) so the quad processor and 16 gig RAM is going to give it quite a ...

You'd have to read the Muse page for specifics...I'm not exactly sure what they are using to be honest....It sounds like you have a plan in place and $1000 is a lot less than what I paid for the muse for sure.....If you want, name off 4 or 5 VI's from Spectrasonics / K9 Ultimate libraries and patch ...

I don't have any experience with VEP....I didn't even downloa the demo....That was mainly because I decided I'd be better off getting the Muse Research quad core instead of running VEP on a single core i5 in my MacBook Pro because it just wasn't powerful enough to do lot's of plugins at once....I ...

Maybe try Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 VEP5 ? http://www.vsl.co.at/en/211/497/1685/1990/1999/1688.htm I used something from Steinberg years ago for a vst player but like everything else they make, they quit supporting it.....Anyway, I thought about looking into the VEP5 for a VST host before I ended up ...

I can tell you from past experience it's too frustrating to work on computers that crash a lot so figure out what is causing it or komplete is never going to work for you....What I got out of the box is working pretty good but some of my home made samples from Kontakt 2 or 3 era is crashing in ...

Seems a little contradictory. Although it's a trade-show, WNAMM has also become a very significant 'internet event' for customers looking to see what is on the horizon. The buzz on forums is at its greatest during the WNAMM period. Not just KorgForums, but all music gear manufacturers and related ...

I have sleep mode disabled on mine as well....It was really bad news if I had a protools session open I was working on and came back from a break and it was in sleep mode....My DSP cards would lose connection from the rack units and I'd have to shut Protools down and restart before it would ...
