I agree, but this design limits this computers use where Apple could have just put all this in a traditional case. It wouldn’t have been as pretty looking, but at least it would have made far more sense from an investment point of view. Anyone buying this will buy it for all it offers as it stands a ...

I only recently switched over to Mac (2010)....Up until then all I knew was PC....I agree Mac OS is what makes Mac so great....It's not so much about what is included in the OS as much as what is NOT there....Having a barebones OS is something I don't think Microsoft is capable of doing and has ...

I've used software live and found it a bit unreliable in that situation but a Receptor though expensive is very solid. I still wouldn't swap my Kronos for anything I always keep an open mind but in the studio or out live it's the bees knees I got my Receptor to help ease the processing burden of my ...

That geometry has a massive downside too though. While it looks lovely, you can forget about throwing a few extra hard disks or PCI cards into it as you would a traditional MAC/PC. Yeah, Like my Protools cards....Like that setup wasn't expensive enough, now you'll have to additionally buy some type ...

The first time I played around with NanoStudio on my ipad, I immediately noticed how much more ideal using touch screen versus mouse was....You can do things so much faster....I can't tell you how much I wish Protools was set up for this....Imagine, to add a track just touch a +Track button which ...

In a studio environment, I've always just used the DAW sequencer since they have more options, easier to see, better incorporates with the rest of my DAW tracks and generally faster to use....I also like this approach because when I buy a new workstation, that's one less new thing I have to learn ...

I noticed Guitar Rig 5 is for more than just guitars.....Some of the preset categories are for drums, leads, vocals, etc.....I didn't listen to them but I clicked on some presets and looked at the effect chains which were interesting....I'll definitely listen to some of these next time I have a ...

Hi, im still on 2.0.6.. I have to go to 2.1.0 first? or should I go straight to 2.1.1 I'm good for that too....Now that I've got all my settings/patches set up the way I want, I won't update again unless they release something I just HAVE to have and that's not very likely....(I last updated ...

I've had mine installed for several days now and it's a great bargain....It took a long time to install even with the included hard drive on the Mac Pro.....It was already preinstalled on the Muse Research I just got so it was just a matter of figuring out how to authorize offline on it.....They ...
