bear in mind I have alredy looked into usb conections and this isnt an option with the oasys where conecting to a pc is concerned, only does it support for external usb devices such as cd drives and players, and it says that it must be connected via midi to a DAW

Ok, so im new to midi conections.. what I want to clarify is I want to compose in 7.1 and I know the oasys has 8 outputs and that the oasys has its own soundcard. so if im not conecting it to a soundcard's midi port that is conected to my pc, what do I need to get. Intuitivley I'm guessing a ...
