Mine used to save (and therefore load) the key and scale... Just set the key, scale, program memory buttons, scale range and bank loop lengths as you want them to be when you turn it on and save ALL to filename "0". It will load that as default when you power up. Provided you have the SD card in ...

My advice a la the USB MIDI is to uninstall the Korg USB-MIDI driver and reinstall it (or the latest one). Someone else (or a search in the forum) will have to help you further with this though, I'm afraid. This side of computers isn't my forte. As for the standard MIDI In port, it is to control the ...

When in that mode, all of your movements of the loop length get recorded too.
This allows for recording "glitches" into the loop but isn't very useful if you want to switch to shorter loop lengths and then return to 16 beats without change.

Try holding the bank down (or just keeping it recording if you record hands free) for a little while after you finished "performing".

While I had mine, I never encountered this problem. I did notice that when importing wav files to the KPro I had to do a fair bit of tinkering to get the right level for using on it but never any problems the other way around. Hmm... :/ I'm pretty sure of one thing though... The headphone volume won ...

Both the Boss Micro BR and the Tascam DP-004 can record two tracks simultaneously. Unfortunately, you have to get quite big and expensive in hardware recording before you can record more than that though, it seems. Even most of the mid-range desktop-sized recorders will only record two. But as you ...

1. I believe some of the effect programs mute the external audio in parts of the touchpad (the grain shifter and the looper, I think). 2. The program volume knob acts as an "FX Depth" knob on the effect programs. As for actual wet/dry, I believe the touchpad can be used for this on some programs ...

YES!!! I WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P I am taking full credit for this. Tascam! Where's my commission? I would have chosen that one too though and if I could summon up the cash, I would. Laptops/computers are all well and good for recording and unsurpassed in many respects but it's just not convenient ...

The banks' beat lengths (along with program memories, scale, key and range) are saved when you save "ALL" to an SD card. Saving "ALL" to slot "0" on a card that is inserted upon boot up will automatically load those settings, acting as default settings. So, basically, turn it on and before recording ...

Possibly the best and most useful tip (not so much a trick but can be magical):

Read the manual. :)

@xmlguy

I sometimes really wish these forums were like Facebook and had the little "like" things so I could "like" your comments.

Slowly cutting out communication bit by bit until the public are back to being just animals, only able to gesture to each other about food and danger.

Possibly a ridiculous question about MIDI...

I wasn't really sure where to post this thread... Hope here is alright. Maybe a really stupid question that deserves either an equally stupid answer or just a blunt one but... What happens when you connect an instrument's MIDI out to its own MIDI in? Will it harm the instrument? Will it trigger ...
