My guess is that there is an iPhone app that can do what you want.

And for any company to produce something so simple and limited would be crazy. Are you sure there's not an effect on the KP3 that can do what you want?

And in that situation, it wouldn't be ideal, but I think the ability of the KP3 to resample might have had some impact on their decision not to include it in the KPro. I have just got the driver sorted and working for the Kpro but when transmitting changes to the program memory, only the programs are transmitted and not the scale, key and note range, which stay as they were.

Can someone direct me as to what I'm doing wrong? Or is this another problem?

They seem to have updated the driver for the KPro now and it has worked.

I agree. These introductory and tutoring "in the studio" videos are very helpful.

But what I want to see is a video (like the one about the original Kaossilator) documenting the hidden tips and tricks of the Kaossilator Pro.

I understand that the KPro cannot simply understand note messages in order for notes to be played, which is why I asked for confirmation about the PadKontrol, as I thought its pads could be assigned to send CC messages. Can more than one CC message be assigned to any one pad/controller? Or maybe one ...

So not so much suggestions for an updated Monotron at all then, but a suggestion for a new Korg Kaossilator hybrid.
