you can definitely record the guitar without having to hold down the pad, you just have to arm the bank first...push record, then select the bank, and any incoming audio will record...you just can't hold down the bank and record without touching the pad

since it is a stereo panning delay, it will sound different in mono vs. stereo...that might be it...

the blocks do not correspond in any way to any scales. i would recommend printing out a grid on acetate and placing it over the touch pad if you want to mark your own specific scale references

i agree...something that adjusts to standing height...laptop stands work ok, but a dedicated stand would sell great...oh, and gig bags for the kp3 and kaoss pro please!

on your second point, it will not be possible...your device is an audio sampler, not a sequencer...since it is sampling audio, the only way to change the tempo is to play the loop faster or slower, and your pitch will be affected no matter what.

without a computer, though, how do you tell something like the nano pads which channel to correspond to? I have been looking for a way to control my mc 303 without using their little buttons...hooking something to it with pads would be a real game-changer
