With my previous unit, I tried a different power adapter (also a KORG adapter, which came with a friends KP3), and that didn't fix the problem. At the time, of course, I that didn't mean my original adapter didn't cause the problem. With my new unit I also recieved a new power adapter, though, so I ...

Pitch effects and grain shifters fail
This is screwed up. I bought a KP3 about a year and a half ago. After a while, some of the effects started malfunctioning: anything with pitch shifting or granulation produced an extremely low, barely audible output, and the drum and synth programs only produce normal output with a delay (which ...

Dead topic, but seeing as I'm still trying to get this exact problem fixed: Someone at my local music shop thinks it might be a faulty power supply screwing up the software. I sent it in for repair (a second time; first time it came back fixed but broke again several hours afterwards, I was using ...

I'm having the same problem. When you say previous samples play back with GRN1 applied, do you mean the effect was recorded onto the sample which you stored to the card? Or can you really use the effect on your saved samples? Anyway, I've been reading several threads about the broken effects problem ...

It's a dynamic mic, a Shure beta 57a to be precise, so I don't think so. The line inputs work fine. It must be a problem with the mic input itself(?) Or am I still missing something? Well, at least now I can get started properly. I'll probably be using the line inputs anyway, with the mic through a ...

Possibly embarrassing KP3 questions
I just recieved my KP3 and was just trying it out. It seems that when I record a loop, it doesn't playback like it should. The light on the sample bank becomes orange like it should, the bank volume is up, and I can hear anything else I'm doing (which, now, is just drums and synths) just fine ...
