I cannot state this for sure without knowing more about your laptop. However, if you are running a mono signal out of your keyboard into a cable that is mono into your laptop, it is recording it at a MIC level. This is a signal boosted method and can overdrive the signal which should only be ...

If I can wrap my head around what you are saying here- correct me if I am wrong. Example- You've created this track. Great sounds. "Clean" sounds. Everything has it's sonic place in your song. Suddenly this distortion comes from out of nowhere. But not just distortion, lots of high end buzz and ...

GLAD TO HEAR IT DEE!!!!

It is always exciting when new music gets posted.

It is even more exciting to me if the product is incomplete or rough and I get to write a book of feedback to you.

Now don't let that discourage anyone!!! I am playing!

Diego, Size does not matter...but tell that to her! Seriously, short songs can be some of the most important songs. Think Maurice Williams "Stay"...just a little over one and half minutes. And it not only was a number 1 song but has sold millions worldwide. So bring it on! Solo

I wish my brethren across seas a good evening... And to those in the States, good morning! As we face the end of this month, take my best wishes and encouragement on getting posted what you can. As was said earlier, there is nothing better than a little feedback if you get stumped! I like many of ...

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy! :x I am sure there is some small lesson here, but from everyone's reply it is understandable the expression "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch". Unfortunately, with any bad experience, we tend to base our entire future dealings as a result of that. Not to ...

Thank all for the vote of confidence. I have dropped the vocal now...about my 10-12th run with it. The hard part is that I think for continuity it has to be done in one solid take...not piece-goods together. Sadly, I think I wrote a song beyond my means. Oh well, in a few days, I will let you ...

I have ordered an expression pedal with my foot. Cool, I usually use my phone, or at least my computer. Ok that was not helpful. I play the TE in a band. We have a dedicated soundman so I rarely have a problem with volume. However, before we had a soundman, I would use a volume pedal or the ...

Instead of reverb I would add mono chorus to the bass. Maybe as much as 25% in a moving frequency about twice the speed of your time. And I would keep it as MONO as possible. Dead center panned.

Boost the kick in the 300hz range and the bass in the 150hz range.

Well despite the fact that I do not speak the language you are singing in, it is clear you are singing with a lot of emotion, as you have had in other songs. However, the music seems overly EQed. It is as if the entire mid-range section is gone. While that leaves a nice place for the voice to sit ...

Thanks George! I am a bit nervous about this coming month. To whet your appetite- Gone are my hook lines. Gone are my harmonies. Gone is my production. It is one voice on one track. One piano on one track. One small string part on one track. Nothing repeats. Not even in a play on words. It is quite ...
