What I have done when I have various voices (instruments) that want to share the same range within a particular EQ range but specifically the mid range and bass range is this: 1. Analyze each track individually and find "where" each bassy part is. For example, a deep bass line might float around the ...

I don't have a PA50, nor have I really ever played one. So I really don't know much about how the tracks work. So as far as the Styles are concerned, I am lost. However, if you can mute parts that are playing, that is what I mean by soloing out parts. Mute everything but what you want recorded on ...

Well the way to record tracks from PA50 would be to hook up MIDI to and from your computer to your PA50. Then you can either set the PA50 to sync to an external clock, or vice versa with your software. Arm one track at a time in Sonar, and solo one track at a time on your PA50. That way you can drop ...

Diego you hit it man!

Actually, I HAD an issue with bass players. I am now playing again with a fellow I played with years ago. He is phenomenal. Very funky too.

I believe you can import a MIDI file and depending on the type (1 or 0) it will ask if you want to separate the tracks. I remember many years ago I could do that with Cakewalk, so I am sure it made it's way into Sonar.

I find that a lot of sheet music (i.e for piano for example) while quite involved, is usually quite wrong with many songs, especially as it references chords. It could could be that I never really became proficient at reading music, and relied so heavily on my ear that I fully understood the ...

WOW or LOTRO?

I like Teamspeak and it is better and quicker than ventrilo. It would be a nice setup for communications. Maybe some form of little "get together" every once and awhile.

Many good moments in your improv. Find a nice section or theme within those moments, structure it up a bit with a nice lead, and you will have a great song. I know the concert hall FX is too much... Yes, waaaaay too much. Either that or too much sustain on the notes. I like hearing distinct notes ...

agreed. i just wanna add, that when most people say "live music/instruments/sound is better" than why M1 Piano, "90's Piano" etc... is many times prefered over "live" piano... sometimes music needs some sort of sound, that is sometimes possible with live instruments, but many times impossible, but ...
