It depends if you're wanting to use the sample playback functionality of the Wave or the analog modeling. Remember that Nord built their foundation on emulations of "certain American, wooden-sided polysynths of the '70's" (read: Prophet 5) and, in fact, the Nord Lead 2X was shipped with the entire ...

A UPS system may or may not have power conditioning built-in. You may want to check the manual for your UPS and see if it's a feature you've already got. If it's available it's probably already activated. Most UPS systems with power conditioning have at least a 3-digit, 7-segment LED readout showing ...

Re: iMS-20 with Kronos?
I can do this already in Korg Legacy Collection for Polysix and MS-20. Do you know if the iMS-20 presets can be saved and loaded to and from the iPad (using iTunes, etc.)?
Cheers!
Cheers!

Re: Locked out of Heaven
:) Let us know which kits and programs you find to be the closest! Cheers! For the cuica I would start by checking through either User bank A or just searching by category for a Latin kit. Most dum kits have some Latin components in them if you play the upper octaves of the keyboard so you may be ...

Re: Starting OG!
I'd recommend auditioning programs and combis and zero in on your favorite engine then use the OG/PG to learn more about the features and parameters as you encounter them. I think it will help keep you from becoming overwhelmed. Of course, if you're feeling adventurous you can just dive right in and ...

So it was just a kranky Kronos? :? Well, I'm not sure whose face needs to get palmed :-) I spent about an hour trying all sorts of experiments with precisely the same results. Then I powered off the Kronos. When I powered it on again, everything worked perfectly! This is both a relief (as I know it ...

Most dum kits have some Latin components in them if you play the upper octaves of the keyboard so you may be surprised to find one in a 909 kit or something like that. The huummmm sounds ...

Well, look what happened with the MS-20. People obviously demanded it and it resurrected via software and OASYS, then Kronos and iOS and now as a full-fledged standalone analog synth. Maybe features from King Korg will end up filtering (no pun intended ) into Kronos or a subsequent workstation ...

What- the screen itself isn't pretty enough for you? If I was on a desert island I and I could only choose three things to take with me. 1) Solar panel 2) My Glasses 3) Kronos The main thing would be the kronos I would need my glasses to see it and the solar panel to power it. :D You forgot ...

Well, I'm sure everyone here is as glad as I am that you're proactively soliciting for and adding features! You've really outdone yourself with your program!! Thank you for keeping us users in the loop! :) Cheers! I will make sorting by keyzone anyway since I want that for myself. And if you set the ...

Re: Programs w/ Parameter Clues in the Name Title
I've noticed the same thing about some of the programs. I've even found a few where the params are reversed, e.g. JS+Y is in the program name but it doesn't do anything remarkable- JS-Y however affects the tone noticeably (and pleasingly ). Then again, maybe subtlty is what they're going for ...

Do you have some of the patches available in SysEx? I may be able to manually convert a few as an exercise... Do you use any expansion cards for your patches or are they all stock waves? Cheers! I am going to begin recreating a few of my favorite songs that I wrote a few years ago utilizing patches ...

I would say sorting by category may be useful. I tend to keep percussion on channel 10, for example, to keep it compatible with my studio/sequencing setup (and so I don't have to touch the settings in my MPC ). Maybe another idea would be to have the program auto-calculate the number of gaps ...
