Well, the beauty of the KARMA implementation is that you can just leave it alone if you want. Or, you can copy a program/combi to an initialized slot and edit the KARMA slots (or just not save them) and just move sliders, press buttons and twist knobs! I've found the most fun in playing with KARMA ...

This is a fantastic recommendation, also! I find myself getting inspired to create programs based on what I've heard in a track (or even another program/combi- Glass Runner is a perfect example of what I consider an immensely inspiring combi). The sound that Andrew Farriss got out of his Roland SH-7 ...

Well, how about this for thought: I've programmed close to 60 patches (though admittedly not all super-professional sounding) each trying to highlight a little bit of one sound engine or another or the control surface or effects or some combination/amalgam of all of these (mostly EXi patches, so far ...

The Kronos can definitely play samples from anything you can record; however, that's not the point of MOSS. It's really the proto-OASYS and thus precursor to the Kronos with the idea being combinations of synthesis engines rather than just programs all sharing a common engine. That having been said ...

Do you know if it's limited strictly to SSD or is it possible to use a mechanical HDD like from a notebook? Only 1GB of additional RAM is supported. As for the SSD, you'll probably run out of wallet first ;) There is no need for a huge disk anyway unless you expect to do lots of multitrack audio ...

Re: NEED HELP CREATING THIS SOUND!
Which sound are you referring to? I heard a couple which might be described as brassy in there. Also, are you looking for help with the ducking compression or just the sonic timbre of the brass element(s)? Cheers! Hello everyone. New to the kronos. I'm trying to recreate this synth sound. I can't ...

I, for one, would be most interested in a sort of A/B, side-by-side comparison with the MS-20mini, original MS-20 and the MS-20EX (well, more like A/B/C). I've played with the original many moons ago and remember being more than impressed when KLC came out. The KLC MS-20 and MS-20EX are basically ...

You are, of course, more than welcome to find a suitable patch which already contains the elements you want and copy it to an initialized patch slot. I prefer this method since I usually have some idea in mind as I'm scrolling through the sounds. Just use the context menu (the top-right drop-down ...

I tend to separate my patch writing sessions from my music writing sessions in my workflow anyways and so end up using the Kronos exclusively without even powering up my computer if I'm working on patches. It helps me stay focused on the sound rather than worrying about changing gears between song ...
