Cool. are they good camera's ? I really don't know much about doing video at all and I'm really thinking that I need to learn. My wife is an artist. She paints and likes to paint landscapes so we bought a Nikon D3100. We want to get better lens but all in time. They're ok cameras, nothing fancy ...

Is there a way to block the body of posts by certain users?
The first user I'd block would be Saxifraga.

Three cameras were used for this video. I usually start them all up, fire up the DAW, and start playing. If anything is usable after I finish playing, I go from there, otherwise nothing gets saved.
Thanks for listening!!

I actually would have been fine with everything the original unit did when I bought it with no further updates. All these free updates were above and beyond what I expected. The Kronos is definitely my favorite - and most powerful - of all the keyboards that I have.

Beautiful piece... but I think I'd classify it in the New Age genre rather than classical.
Great pictures too!!!

What kaptainkeyboard said!

Basically, TRS adds a ground to the 2-wire connection, and if that ground is "wrapped around" the 2-wire connection in its entirety (the whole length of the cable run), it acts as a shield from any outside electromagnetic interference.

Really nice, Lester - as usual!!!
As for the clicks, there's software that can remove that... but it almost sounds like it belongs there.

All I can say is... as one of the first owners of the original Kronos, my Kronos is much powerful more now than it was when originally purchased... and I didn't have to purchase an 'X' in order to get that additional power! Thank you, Korg!

Playing outside the usual genre

So I figured I'd go into Combi mode and start looking for something that'll inspire me. Didn't take very long to find Int A-001 Smooth Jazzmitazz (EP-1). I'm no jazz player, never was - just not my thing... but this Combi sure brought out something in me that had me playing for over 20 minutes! I ...

I don't get why people don't take their best gear to a gig. I guess it depends on the venue. I'm definitely lugging my K88 everywhere, the few extra kilos at the beginning and end of the gig are nothing compared to the improved sound and possibilities I get for bringing it over my Nord. My "best ...

Been away for a while myself, Lester. Seeing your post paralleled what I've gone through many times. Your creations will still live on for your family long after you've gone... something not a lot of people can say. I think our creations in some way reflect what we're going through - or our lives ...

I haven't read all the pages of this thread yet (just a couple), but I have a 88-key Nord Stage 2, and the 88-key Kronos as well as a few other boards. I would NEVER take the Kronos to a gig - way too heavy, and the menuing system just won't fly at a gig. The NS2 is light in comparison (about 40 ...
