Hello, I'm no expert having just seen it, but the 5000 is a completely new system from a different design team to the 4000, it doesnt have the Z4/8 sampler built in. It will play older MPC files but I dont think it will play S1000 etc like the 4000 did It does however have 24 bit 8 track recorder ...
