When it comes to Rudess, you either love him or hate him, I suppose. But I think its really not HIM that is in question, as much as his music. Few could argue the virtuoso talent he consistently displays. Whether that is the music you wish to listen to in order to find peace and tranquility ...

ASIO4ALL will let you use several interfaces as if they were one device. Check it out. I've been using it for years.

Just bought the R3 less than a month ago to replace my aging MS2000. I do have a Fender Rhodes in the garage I haven't used in a couple of years, I suppose it's time to sell that. I also bought the Roland AxSynth about six months ago. Thought it would be great to jump out in front with the ...

Thanks for posting this Martin - downloading now 8) Excuse my ignorance regarding Youtube, but is there a way of downloading the videos onto my PCs HDD or can you only watch them by downloading, as you watch, each time? If you have RealPlayer on your computer, just move your cursor over the video ...

While I don't have a Kronos yet, I did get to try one out Friday, so I can give my impressions. 1. The sound was the best I've heard out of any hardware in a long time. It really is like having a truckload of instruments in one box; Piano, Rhodes, Wurli, Hammond, Wavestation, Karma, DX7, several ...

For home studio use, I just need to arrange the physical space (since I can't afford it for about a year, I figure I've got the time to make the room), and make sure I have a free USB port. For gigging, it'll take the place of my Triton, which will move to its new home here at er, um, home. The ...

It sure isn't nice right now. I could go for some cooler weather right about now.

I woudn't really care if it was rackmount or tabletop, as long as it had all the controllers and display from the keyboard. Like someone else mentioned, I've never cared for Korg's joystick (or Roland's, either), I'd rather use wheels. I don't mind the vector joystick, but not one as my main pitch ...

I was in Guitar Center today on an unrelated matter, and asked if they knew when the Kronos would be in the store. The salesman didn't know, but took down my number. A few hours after I got home, he called; he said they had them in stock now, but the physical store wasn't going to be carrying them ...

I like quick-lok, but those look like a nightmare for setup and teardown. How long does it take you guys? I have an Apex stand and while it's not the best, takes me under 1 minute to setup or tear down. For stationary in the home, I've been looking at this: http://www.jaspers-alu.de/images ...

I'm saving for a Kronos 61, simply because it's the smallest of the 3 models, and I don't really need any more keys. A module version would suit my needs even better. I wouldn't care if it had any additional features, as long as it had all of the functions of the keyboard version. When Korg first ...

Guitar Center's web site is showing it available online June 1st. That doesn't really indicate when it'll physically be in the stores, though.

[quote="Gargamel314"] Someone said something about putting programs into bank I-G (GM bank). In past workstations, this has been a ROM-only bank, and programs are un-editable. Is it a writable bank in the the Kronos? [quote] I don't know how it works on Korg's current instruments, but I remember a ...

New Controllers : http://www.yamahasynth.com/products/kx/index.html they look like they are from the 80s So does the model number; the letters look exactly like the ones on the DX7. And the KX88, TX series, and just about every other product from back then. I'm wondering if the xfactorvst thing may ...
