Kronos 88 3D model
I'm planning on building myself a home studio, and by this I mean collecting all the gear I have lying around here and there. I will be building the desk myself in oak wood, so that all the equipment will fit perfectly and I can have the different units (instruments and other gear) where I want them ...

Assigning joystick?
Of course assigning the vector joystick for timbre volume is an easy fix, but is there a way to assign the lower joystick to to just this?
I was thinking maybe JS-Y. [/i]

That makes sense, thank you :) I have a policy to not make changes to the factory programs or combis. In the newer OS there are so many empty slots for both programs and combis, so any changes that I make are saved to an empty slot, User 16 for instance. This turned out to be a ‘save’ thread, and I a ...

Okay, thanks. I forgot to mention that when i load, not only do the combis disappear, but some settings on global are switched back so there are some re-setup to do. I thought the Save all option was the only way to save a song, but maybe I’ll find another way :) After all, the song itself is the o ...

Thanks a lot for your help :) This is what I usually do: First, I might make some combis, and save these by hitting Write Combination from the menu. And then, if I decide to record some nice tracks or stuff in the sequencer, I open this up and start working on the first available (usually #000). As ...

Combinations disappears
I am puttling a lot of work into both the Kronos’ sequencer and the combi modes, but now I’m really fed up: I have a lot of great custom combinations that I’ve really put some work into, but when I load songs that I have made into the sequencer, some cobinations just disappears and are replaced with ...

If you remember which song was programmed as no. 003, that try loading it. If it appears as song no. 000 then you are fine. The index numbers (000, 001, 002, etc) are just numbers of songs you have in your Kronos’ memory at the moment. So you cannot hold up to 1000 songs (000 to 999) in your memory a ...

If you check the Append boxes, the songs are ‘stacked’ on top of each other. When you made song no. 3, did you make any changes on the second song (no. 001)? I suppose adjusting the volume on a channel would be enough. If you save all, the changes on the second song will be saved with the first one.

Kronos rotary sim
After playing my Kronos for some months now, I was thinking: For the CX-3 organ, you can set the rotary on the jostick (Y+) or on the control surface (know 8). When you push knob 8 it lights up, telling you that the rotary is set to fast. But if you use the joystick (I often do this in live ...
