I use velocitycurve 9 since I bought the K88. And I had all the OS versions. That makes no difference on the velocity. So your friend is fine with all the versions.

Yeah...I set the demo to not load anymore. I really think the free Sontina strings with a little programming work fine as a "playable patch" for working up ideas...and between the East West, VSL VIPro2, and LASS, I will have to continue to use software for string work. These are just not good ...

I tried the library today. I must say it blew me away. What clean and beautiful sounds. I like them better than the Karo, because there is much less noise in the samples. There are a few very nice popstring programs, very useful in pop, so not just for realistic music. And there are a lot playing ...

You have to upload your foto to a website and place the url in the post. For example picasa. See for the instructions in the FAQ section.

oh btw, I noticed that the Karo unison library appears to have a few EXs3 patches as well. Those patches don't seem to use any of the Karo library sounds, because I don't hear the typical demo fade in/out in those patches. Some of those patches seem pretty good too! I wish there could be a function for copying only a chosen set of Programs from one Combi to another or from a Combi to a Song. For example, Copy Programs 1, 2, 3, x, x, x, ... Ha, ha. I have a tidy wife. And I just finished with my new monitor and a new cable system. So it was a bit more messy, but now its heaven.....

Today I recieved the Axiom and I could compare it to the Novation Impuls I bought wednesday. The Axiom works great just with one USB cable. The midi works fine, and also the pads are automaticly maped to drums. So I can now state for shure that the Novation Impuls is not fully class compliant and ...

In begin 80 i was fan of the band Doe Maar in the Netherlands. When I was 14 I bought a Roland Juno 6, because Doe Maar was using Jupiters. Same sliders, but no memory. That was a shame in my first coverband!
