Oh! Thank you! For a minute I thought it was some kind of looper/processor, looked more serious than what my mentor used to use, hence asked. :P

When you say "crack" do you mean serious distortion? It almost sounds to me like you are hitting the input of your mixer to hard but you also said you are running at low levels. Hmmm. I don't know what else to suggest. Hi, Well the mixers haven't peaked, I usually ensure that they do not peak. Yes ...

No sir, i wasn't asking about those. In the second pic, the one with 8 buttons, looks like some sort of effect processor/looper? Sorry I do not know about that one, hence the curiosity. Regards. I'm sure he'll answer on his own... but to me they look like Roland pedals with that extended rubber part ...

I usually have a Foot Controller as well, so if I ever feel I'm not getting the desired velocity drop or increase, I use the Foot Controller, so never really had any such problems on the Motif XF.

Yes, I kept everything the same. Problem is I'm unable to give a little much volume without risking the 'cracking' sounds coming.

Hi, Monitors not there, so I'm using two BOSE speakers. Have been using them for quite a while now, Motif seems to be working fine in that. Directly output from my mixer mackie DFX-6. Have bypassed DAW for last two days, working on going thru combis and programs in the Kronos. Problems happening in ...

Output level issues..

Hi, I'm not able to figure out one thing- when I increase the Main Volume knob to anything more than 50% while the Master slider is at anything more than 50%, the output begins to crack. Happens on every voice. I checked on headphones, switched cables and checked them on my Motif XF, they seem to be ...

I have thought a moment about using only one synth (Kronos) since it has SST, however I like the possibility to switch very fast between two sounds without the need to split (sometimes not possible, due to hammond glides over multiple octaves). +1 This was my gigging set up in the early part of ...

Here she is, in my band's rehearsal space. The APEX's a perfect match. I used to have a extravagant setup with 3 keyboards, but the K allows me to do everything I did and more with just one keyboard. Great for gigging since this setup is so much more compact and portable :) http://paradox-machine ...

About the keybed, I'd have to agree that playing organ tones is quite nice on that but since I used a Yamaha keyboard for a long while now, I guess I got a bit more comfortable with that. :) About 3 eyboard setups, here in India, you can get people to carry/lift and place your equipments for as low ...
