KO2 / MKP3 - any tracks to share?

Any of you made music with the KO2 or KO2 + MKP2 and willing to share files? I am keen to see what people can do. I have made a couple of amatuerish tests, and will stick some in a skydrive or even put a vid on youtube when I get a chane to spend some time on it (pretty hard with long hours and ...

may seem a dumb question, but how do you load the recording into a loop bank. Are you changing names/moving file on PC to do that, or can you do it on the fly?

it does have line out. You can connect headphones, PC, AMP anything to that jack. You may need to get jack adaptors or special leads (I have a variety) depending on what you are connecting to.

yes - it is easy to sort with the short cut (hold bank and scroll). Other settings are rememebred with saved loops.

I would like to know some more "shortcuts" to be honest, like how to get to the cross fader intsantly.....

What program are you using?

no - that is how it works, you cant slip other loops in from the card on the fly as far as I know. I don't find it a big problem as I keep my saved loops very clean - usually a LD and Bass on one and a cymbol on the other and build up and down from there. Simply deleting them and creating new sounds ...

Incidentally when I checked it seems my KO2 shipped with software version 1.08 already installed. Perhaps this is the case for all UK machines, which would explain why the update is on the US website but not the UK one. No, I had to update mine from 1.06 to 1.08 (brought very recenly), however, my ...

I think it is outstanding - love it . Only small gripes are: No undo. I can't figure a way to turn of the banks whilst using the pad for other sounds. Can't use headphones to listen to cue a loop for mixing with MiniKpad2 To turn off a bank just press it once If I do that whilst using a continuous ...

In R&D the most cost effective way to test market new product features is spread it across a few small cheaply built toys to see how these new ideas work with the consumer before they spend time and money on an expensive new product. Sorry, you lost me there, because a niche product at £130 a pop ...

I can speak English, but being new to this I am not 100% certain what and how you are doing there. A vid would be awesome... Though they are a pain, so understand why that is unlikely. Can you tell me if I am on the right path: 1. on KO-1 you could change beat length on the fly (so 8-16 and ...

might be worth adding some stuff about saving files and how they appear on PC (two banks even if one is blank) and what you can do in terms or renaming, playback on pc apps etc.

you can do that by saving many loops (one layer at a time), but what I do is save loops that are quite simple - maybe a hookline and bass on one bank and a sybmol or light drum on the other. I load them and then layer on top "live", if you know what I mean. That way I can have simple clean loops ...

you have to have a card or the KO2 is pointless IMHO. MicroSD cards come in different speeds (classes), 10 being the fastest I think. However, I use class 4, which is slower, cheaper and just fine for the KO2 because the loops you save and load are so small they load in a second anyway. The cards ...
