just to make sure I understand you. If you have a line in from another source can you hear that if you connect output to speakers, but not when you connect the output to headphones? If so, I don't understand that - it should work fine on phones if it does on speakers surely. Unless there is ...

I think it is outstanding - love it .

Only small gripes are:

No undo.

I can't figure a way to turn of the banks whilst using the pad for other sounds.

Can't use headphones to listen to cue a loop for mixing with MiniKpad2

yea I got through a load of batteries already, using eneloop now as they are very good rechargeable ones.

The price tag is ludicrous for the recommend/official one.

Got mine yesterday. You select the banks to be either 4 or 8 beats first. You can do that in the menu or by holding the I or II bank snnd using the touch slider. Once that is set you hold the bank you want to record in and play the sounds you want to record from the touchpad. It flashes red whilst ...

yes, I reckon I will.

I am already thinking a bit ahead and fancy a Mini KPad2. Though I am not sure yet if you play them togethor whether one output becomes "master" or whether you have to connect both to another device before the amp/speakers.
