but this is still a bunch of Bologni.
Just let me add that Zebra 2 (from U-He) also supports some different but fixed window sizes.

Okay guys and gals there you have it SQ are prepared to negotiate if the numbers are right, so please add your name to the list...The buy would be for SQ 11 with the inbuilt Kronos support so there is time to get a decent group together. Dennis Very good initiative, thank you. I am interested to ...

That's exactly where I have retired - very short names and only one directory level below root

I'd like to know what you do which needs to fill up so many folder and sub folders. I will have like 4 folders off the root in my entire lifetime, and in each may be 20 or so folders for the samples :) B Here is an example of a directory tree I used: --root ----ProjectName ------SongTitle ...

Got it, thanks. So this begs a new question. To maintain the required lengths how do you guys organize what you? What sort of system and why? I know everyone will be different but I am curious to see how it all relates. On the Kronos I try to use short names as possible. Like in the old DOS days: 8 ...

And as far as I can see no actual info posted of what the max length actually is! A very useful thread. A reasonable point. :-) This has come up on these forums at various points: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=491494#491494 http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic ...

Just allow me to tell about my first experience with this issue. I also had during my first days with my Kronos a good time and saved some ideas in sequencer mode. The shock was big, when in disk mode suddenly an error message popped up telling me that there was no way to save my data to disk ...

Korgs programmers need to rewrite the whole system. It´s crap from the 90ties by todays standards and the last machine I bought from any "workstation" producer. It's worse your getting as time goes by. The KRONOS is the most advanced workstation on the market. You should stop and ...

Hopefully the 4th is a charm. I'm in the same situation, hoping that with my FORTH attempt, I'll get a working board. 1st Kronos returned - keybed issue 2nd Kronos returned - keybed issue 3rd Kronos X returned - fan noise issue I've ordered another Kronos X, which should arrive this week. All units ...

I do love my Kronos and I will even say I love Korg and many of their products. But at the same time I have to agree that there is no way they checked all the machines (or even most) before boxing them. Perhaps this is normal practice shipping out $3000+ synths but once a few complaints started to ...

I think it is good to see people post about Kronos with no problems. My biggest put off and what still holds me back is the pervasive negativity. *up* I know this was a troll thread, but the topic fits and I don't want to start a new one because I just want a clear answer on the following: I'm interested in possibly buying a Kr X 61 - is this a safe bet? Are there any known issues or problems with these "new" Kronoses? And especially the 61 ...
