Ok..so I go to sequence mode....then I hit the dropdown menue to load a template....good so far!....I choose to copy the drum pattern onto track one....good so far!...it copies the pattern from measure 1>8.....now for measure 9 through 16 I want some other pattern.... there is a drop down for it ...

That's exactly where I have retired - very short names and only one directory level below root
