I'm not sure what you mean by muting the keyboard, not the sequencer. The keyboard merely plays whichever track you selected in the sequencer. If you mute that track, the keyboard will not sound. In addition, you could simply not play? I must be missing something, not sure what you're trying to do ...

Backing tracks can be used for multiple goals. You can use backing tracks for: - play along tracks (where you play along withthe complete track) - playing parts of the song you play with your band - Addings vocals during play - Create remixes in realtime these examples are explained on my youtube ...

Well that's why I asked what you wanted to do. If you want to use it as a backing track, isn't that exactly what you want? You could also make a multisample and play the song (or bits of it) triggered from keys but I fail to see how that would be more convenient for your purpose? Once a file is on ...

The best way to use my tutorials is to watch them once without reading the right side of the screen. Then watch it again and pause at each section to do the steps yourself. In that case after watching and trying out the steps you will know a lot of tricks in the kronos because due to the steps ...

Re: Kronos Tutorials

I bought sudosonic video and was disappointed with them their was no depth to them Qui are much better and he is good enough to make them free. Well, thanks for the warning! Nothing like wasting $70 for what you could have gotten better for free! So you feel you can go right from the Kronos vids to ...

Yes, it looks good, looks like Qui has 16 Free Tutorials on youtube, so I though that they might also have paid ones for intermediate and/or advanced? But I guess not, I guess their thing is sound libraries.

Okay, the sequencer is definitely your best choice as opposed to using a multisample. I have never done this myself though so I feel too unsure to give you the specifics. I know that you have to "add" an audio event to the sequencer, and when you save the song, it usually saves the audio files with ...

Had you seen Korg's tutorials first or not? Would like to hear a comparison on those.

Mike Conway has done some good Oasys videos, most of which apply to the Kronos as well. You can find them on Youtube.
No, haven't seen them yet, but I will check it out; thanx.

Kronos Tutorials

Other than the Korg Kronos Music Workstation Video Manual Parts 1 thru 6, does anyone know if Korg has made any other Video Tutorials for the Kronos? Also, I've seen that sudosonic has about 5 hours of video tutorial for $70, which they say goes into much more details than the Official Kronos ones ...

QuiRobinez wrote: yes you can do both, it's possible to use audio files in the sequencer (for instance vocals or a backing track, and also you could use the same wav file in an hd program as as sample.
Okay, see answer, in previous post above.

Yes, both are possible, but getting them to work requires two different procedures. Just trying to figure out what you want to do and where it may be going wrong for you. Well, at this point I'm basically a singer, with a 430 some song list. I'm able to pick up songs, vocally, in a snap and by the ...

Not sure what you mean with this. What do you actually want to do with the wave file? Play it as a sample from a key, or use it as an audio track in the sequencer?
Probably an audio track with the sequencer. though is it not possible to do both?
