Re: Standardize on a user bank
Program User Bank D would not be a good choice, as it contains the LAC-1 option, soon to be out. Furthermore, I would suspect that whatever option comes next will use User C, since that seems to be the way Korg is going. STR-1 = USER E, LAC-1 = USER D, ???? = USER C. Not that I'm involved in this ...

Standardize on a user bank
Hi Sharp, While we are on the subject of standardization, I was wondering if we could also decide which user bank all the OASYS Refill project programs and combis will go into. I use User Bank D for both the programs and combis. I've just made on program and combi, but thought I'd check this out ...

Standardize on factory.pcg or producer.pcg
Hi Sharp, I just observed that it is important to standardize on whether you want to use the factory default preload.pcg or producer.pcg when designing combis that use programs from Korg and the OASYS Refill project. We should take a vote on this and then decide, else there will be addition effort ...

Re: Global Model option for memorizing RAM multisample list
You have my vote on that one. Thanks Eric. I realized that if Korg doesn't want to open up the OASYS and support a scripting interface, the next best thing they could do, was to internally support this by creating a list in memory for all the RAM samples and the locations it was loaded from. Now ...

Global Model option for memorizing RAM multisample list
Hi, I would like to put in an enhancement request for adding an option to the Global Mode to support memorizing the current list of multisamples loaded into RAM. If support for scripting for specifying which multisamples is be to loaded at boot time is not planned in the near future, could you at ...

Questions about some of the multisamples
Hi Sharp, I have a few questions about some of the multisamples: 032 : Kit_10 : Is this from another keyboard/instrument. 079 : X-Files .. any similarities to the soundtrack from the TV series? Umm, I don't have the soundtrack handy, so would be helpful if you could tell me which component of the X ...

Bugs with some of the OASYS Refill Multisamples
Hi Sharp, I just observed some bugs with some of the OASYS Refill Multisamples and just wanted to run this by you to confirm: 007 : Digital Guitar 2 DF001: C5 note, dull click towards the end of the sample. More prominent beat effect if you press a two or more notes at the same time C5 & E5. 081 ...

Quick check of the contents of the OASYS Refill Multisamples
Hi Sharp, I just want to make a quick check to see if I've got all the multisamples loaded and in the correct order, before I proceed. All in all, is it correct that there are 110 Multisamples (000 to 109) in total? Is the occurrence of the following multisamples correct, in terms of order and ...

Hi Sharp, I just went through the samples and I must say, I really liked them. I noted down a few comments yesterday and will reply to them in separate posts. Sharp, I feel that we need to start a separate section for the Refill project. This is because we may need developers to separately comment ...

Hi Sharp, Thanks for the reply. This sounds great!! I'm quite excited about this and will audition the raw samples today evening. I was just curious though, at what resolution/bit depth and frequency did you sample the original sounds. Did you sample it at a higher bit depth and frequency and then ...

Hi, I have a simple request to enable selecting the GUI OK & Cancel buttons by pressing the Enter & Exit hardware keys. For example, if I have a program or a combi and I want to mark it as a favourite, I can click on the Favourite check box, then press the Rec/Write hardware button. This pops up an ...
