it is a no brainer as long as both share the same sonic quality. Peter That's the point: do they actually have the same sonic quality? And even if they do: do the other benefits of Kronos justify buying one if you have already spent your money on an Oasys? If I'd play live I'd say yes. But in a ...

Having watched the video, my musical (non-technical) reactions are: (1) seamless shifting between programs or combis is a nice improvement, but mainly valuable for live performance (2) the screen looks a little better, but would be harder to view because it is not tilted (3) the computer interface ...

Well - "The game has been changed" could be grasped as a slogan for current Oasys users as well ... It's super that they developed another great keyboard. It's wise that they listened to users on what should be improved (at least partly). It's cool it costs half as much as before offering ...

Holla! Peter, da ist ein 3. Opfer für unseren 2-köpfigen Österreich-Oasys-Fanclub!! Liebe Grüße retour an den Würfel! Ok - I had exactly the same thing on my mind when seeing the long video. Why not ONE comment on the Oasys?!? Are they ashamed? They know that every Oasys-user imme ...

Kronos/Oasys comparison

Not sure where to put this - but guess it makes more sense in the Oasys section than in the Kronos. :? When looking at the pics and vids it's plain to see there's lots of Oasys in the Kronos. What I'm interested in are the real differences - esp. soundwise! Does Kronos sound the same as Oasys? Or ...

The layout reminds me VERY much of the Oasys. I'm curious what's it going to sound like and how it will be positioned: the successor of M3? Or a "lightweight" Oasys (that is pricewise, not featurewise)?

Obviously they do not repeat the mistake of marketing it as "Open" ...

info about price is serious. now we should find oasys at 2000 euros !!! and I'll finally buy it (Oasys, I mean) Hehe - then welcome to the Oasys-Club! My first thought was: looks like a remake of the Oasys - similar design and layout. BTW synthgear wrote "NOD 7" - I suppose they ment "MOD 7"?

Nice looong delay on the guitar-sound!
What I did not like that much was the sound of the violin - it's too scratchy for my taste (but suspect it's an original Korg-sound - as most of them come with lots of "wire").

OT@Cello: I'm afraid you've been given a wrong hint. I have no deep insight into KO. I just used normal Karma for programming some drum-tracks. Then I realised it's not so easy to match them with fitting bass KGEs which made me buy KO to create those myself. But after that I switched to RMX and a ...

I experienced some trouble when selecting too many files at once when copying or moving them around. I'm keeping an exact copy of my internal HD on an external 500 GB WD HD. That means I'm copying everything manually as there is no backup feature built into the Oasys. When doing this I realized that ...

pmm rose my curiosity regarding this thread - didn't read it, as I'm very happy with my AKG 271 Studio headphones. Got 2 of them - one for me and one for the people being recorded. I can recommend them - but I'm not sure they are still produced. Nice, clear sound and they seem not to add anything to ...
