yeah, i think castorex is right. i re-read your post (i must have missed that you mentioned G#6) and if your sustained notes do start from the 6th octave, i'd say that's "normal". real pianos do not have dampers on the highest octaves since they already have a short decay time.

the kross has great dark piano programs. i suggest trying out the
Dark Piano (A006) and the German Dark Grand (U005) from the 512 Free Sound Pack.

also, you can adjust the "brightness" on the default Kross Grand Piano (A000) by moving the modulation wheel.

yes, i sync the kp3+ with the midi clock of the kaossilator pro+. i'm not sure if you've tried this... i would suggest setting the midi filters on your kp3+ so that it will only be receiving midi clock signals. all other messages like sysex, note, etc, should be turned-off. maybe (just maybe) the ...

the kaossilator pro+ is a phrase/sample looper. my kp3+ has always been in sync with it. but i've only had both devices for a few weeks. i'm not sure if they have a tendency to drift or get "confused" on occasions.

maybe i just haven't experienced it yet.

what's the tempo? the length is cut in half (down to 8 beats) when the tempo goes below 73bpm (i think).

the miniKP2s does look like a great device.

i noticed that the mp3 button on the miniKP2 was replaced by the sample button on the miniKP2s. does this mean the miniKP2s does not play mp3 files anymore?

I was just wondering what's the best speed and size for the new kaoss pads. i understand it can take up to 32GB, but would it really be able to use up 32GB? also, does it matter if i use a class 4 vs class 10? it seems the pads save and load the files in real-time anyway. i could get class 4 cards ...
